The Mistress of Novices: Loraine Kilaine (U4ea)
Hey there! Welcome to the White Tower! My name is Lor and I'm the MoNster of the White Tower Community of Dragonmount. I joined Dragonmount in January of 2004. I'd been a member of the old book forum boards since August of 2000, so while the community was new to me, the idea and the setup wasn't. I joined the Green Ajah after one of the fastest raisings between Accepted and Aes Sedai in the Tower (14 days from one raising thread to the next), and have been active here ever since. I am not only the MoNster of the WT, I'm also the Eldest of the Kin Community Organization.
As I write this, I am in my late twenties, married and on the verge of having children. I live in South Georgia, along the coast, and love reading, writing, history and teaching. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and, until recently, was an Elementary School teacher in the local public school system. I hope to begin my Master's Degree program soon!
The White Tower Community of Dragonmount has given me the best gifts I've ever received in the friends I've made since I joined and the general feeling of acceptance found all over the Dragonmount boards. I hope you find the same things I have found here and that you come to love the people in this community as much as I do.
And yes, I bonded the Master at Arms MANY moons ago. I'm proud to claim one of the longest lasting active bonds at DM. He's my best friend, my rock, and now...my point counting partner! ;)

Hello, I am Kyn and I'm the Master at Arms for the White Tower
Community at Dragonmount. I've been a member here since November of 2003. I've been the temporary and assistant Master of Novices since
summer of 2005, and filled in for the previous MoNster, Taya Sedai. When she was on LoA
As of right now I am in my mid 30's and am married with one child. I work in Security and Disaster Response. I live just outside of
Atlanta, Ga, and have been an avid Sci-fi and Fantasy reader since I was in grade school. My major area of study in school is Medieval
European History. In addition to DM and other various Roleplaying activities I also participate in The Society for Creative Anachronism,
which is a medieval re-enactment organization.
I agree with Lor, there are many, many opportunities to be found on the DM boards. I've been lucky enough to find some very close friends
and my best friend there. I certainly hope that any of you reading this are lucky enough to find the same.
And yes, I am bonded to the MoNster, but I found her when she was but a Novice and bonded her before anyone else could. I'm proud and happy
to claim her, she's my best friend, my confidant and now she's stuck doing this with me!
